METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PROSTHESIS STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: To obtain a prosthetic structural body which is environmentally safe and less contaminates fibrous materials without spending much time by bundling many fibers or knitting these fibers to form slender fiber systems and packing these fiber systems into a pipe to be sealed, then pouring a suitable matrix material into this pipe, thereby impregnating the fibers with this material. CONSTITUTION: A suitable number of the fibers 1 entangled with each other into a tubular shape are withdrawn into the plastic pipe 2 and, for example, acrylic plastic polymerized to a light degree is poured therein. The reinforced package of a suitable length for a dental bridge is completely sealed when the fibers are impregnated with the plastic in such a manner. The impregnated and reinforced package is transferred to a casting mold 7 and is applied to a curved recess 9 projected with a metal cap 8 is applied. A chip 10 is transferred onto the guide pin of a metallic cap in order to facilitate the operation. The dental bridge is given with a suitable form and color and is finally finished to the dental bridge 12 which has the teeth 13 and is anchored to the jaw bone.
