PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that can efficiently perform face detection for images of both a subject and a photographer with an inexpensive construction.SOLUTION: In an imaging device 100, when a main camera image obtained directly from a main camera or obtained through a memory unit 123, and a sub camera image obtained directly from a sub camera or obtained through the memory unit 123 are time-divisionally input to a single face detection circuit, with respect to the main camera image, the main camera image just after buffering is input to the face detection circuit, and with respect to the sub camera image, the latest image which is being subjected to buffering when face detection processing on the main camera image is finished is input to the face detection circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
