<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for sealing gas, by providing a valve device set to 1.2-3 times as high as the designated sealing pressure. CONSTITUTION:In a sealing valve 13 two sets of solenoid valves 13a and 13b are connected in parallel and connected to a compressor 25 through reducing valves 23a and 23b, a manual sealing valve 13 and a drier 26. The gas supply capacity of the compressor 25 is 7000g/cm<2> or so. The reducing valve 23a controls the supply pressure to an air port 18 at 1000g/cm<2>, while the reducing valve 23b controls at 650g/cm<2>. In this condition the initial sealing is performed by opening the sealing valve 13a and when the pressure is found short, the sealing valve 13b is opened to complete the sealing in a time less than 20% of the sealing so far performed. If the supply pressure is below 1.2 times as high as the designated sealing pressure, the shortening of sealing time will be less effective. If it is over three times, the sheath will be uneven like bellows. We would mention that the standardized sealing pressure of the cable to be measured is 600+ or -100g/cm<2>.</p> |
