PURPOSE: To uniformly dye the surface of a fiber fabric without spoiling its hand feeling by spraying or coating a urethane-based coating on the surface of a fiber fabric and successively brushing the surface. CONSTITUTION: This method for coloring the surface of a fiber fabric is to spray or coat a urethane-based coating material onto the surface of a fiber fabric, successively brushing the surface to disperse the coating material into fine particles and bring gigging motion to be free, keep hand feeling inherent to the fabric and soft touch feeling to the skin and enable to dye the surface with solving unevenness of coating and hue. By this method, the surface color of the fiber fabric can be easily changed and is excellent in light resistant fastness and heat resistance. As the urethane-based coating material, it is preferable to use an acryl polyol as a main ingredient from the point of a soft finishing and hexamethylene diisocyanate, etc., to enhance fastness against friction. |
