PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device that determines whether a paper information setting screen setting a size of a paper or category thereof is needed to be displayed, and displays the paper information setting screen when needed.SOLUTION: In step S104, a paper information screen processing unit is configured to determine whether a paper pattern detection notification is input when a paper feeding cassette is closed, and when the paper pattern detection notification is input, in step S105, the paper information screen processing unit is configured to display a paper information setting screen of the opened/closed paper feeding cassette.
