PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard currency deposit/withdrawal apparatus, in a case of having no collection container attached thereto, even when software control is executed for changing over a discharge destination of hard currency to the collection container, preventing a coin transfer pathway from being changed to the collection container, against the control.SOLUTION: The hard currency deposit/withdrawal apparatus includes a body part, a guide part, a changeover part, and a lock part. The body part includes a storage part for storing coins, and a tray for receiving the coins discharged from the storage part. The guide part is a member for guiding the coins discharged from the storage part and can move between a pay-out position for guiding to the tray and a collection position for guiding to a collection container that is attachable/detachable with respect to the body part. When coins are discharged from the storage part, the changeover part moves the guide part between the pay-out position and the collection position. The lock part is operated with attachment/detachment of the collection container with respect to the body part and, when the collection container is not attached to the body part, retains the guide part at the pay-out position against the operation of the changeover part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
