PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the optical low-pass filter effect visible accurately by a displayed through image, in a video imaging apparatus and a video imaging method for obtaining the optical low-pass filter effect by driving a moving member in a direction different from the optical axis.SOLUTION: A video imaging apparatus includes a display control section for displaying a video captured by an image sensor in a display, a video recording control section for recording the video captured by the image sensor in a video recording section, an imaging operation control section for operating the image sensor by any one of through-image capturing operation for not recording a captured video or video capturing operation for recording a captured video, and a capturing operation selecting section for operating the image sensor by video capturing operation while the low-pass filter is operating by a moving member drive mechanism, regardless of whether or not a captured video is recorded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
