摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent overlayed timing in an abruptly changed running condition by setting newly the basic ignition timing by a delayed timing instant lower limit value calculated from the delayed timing lower limit value obtained according to the engine running condition and a learning value to correct said lower limit value for proper correction. CONSTITUTION:A means A for calculating the basic ignition timing according to the running condition of an engine, a means B for calculating the delayed timing lower limit value according to said condition and a means C for renewing a learning value to correct the delayed timing lower limit value are provided. Also, a means D for calculating the delayed timing instant lower limit value from the learning value and delayed timing lower limit value, a basic ignition timing correction means E for correcting the basic ignition timing by the delayed timing instant lower limit value to set newly the basic ignition timing and a means F for calculating the delayed timing correction amount from the new basic ignition timing according to the pressure of knocking are provided. the basic ignition timing set newly by the delayed timing value is corrected with an ignition timing correction means G to control the ignition timing.
