PURPOSE:To facilitate the movement of a pipeline diagnosing apparatus in a pipe, by providing a cylinder main body and a piston rod respectively with elastic support legs each of which contacts with the inner wall of the pipe, has an outside diameter a little larger than the inner diameter of the pipe and is curved and deformed elastically in the same direction with the outer when forced into the pipe. CONSTITUTION:Compressed air is supplied from an air hose 8 on the back side into a cylinder main body 5, the main body 5 is actuated backward, the fore end part of an elastic support leg 4 on the back side which is to extend its diameter in the radial direction by an elastic force is pressed against the inner wall of a pipe 1 and allowed to move forward slidably without engaging with the inner wall and moves forward. Subsequently, the compressed air is supplied from the air hose 8 on the front side into the main body 5, so as to make a piston rod 6 retrogress in contraction. Then the fore end part of an elastic support leg 3 on the front side engages with the inner wall of the pipe 1 and is fixed thereon, to the contrary, and therefore the elastic support leg 5 on the back side moves forward slidably to be drawn near thereto. With the forward-backward motion of the rod 6 repeated, thereafter, a cylinder 2 self-moves as an inchworm, with the rod 6 ahead, in the direction of an arrow inside the pipe, pulling a pipeline diagnosing apparatus 13 to be moved. |
