摘要 PURPOSE:To compactly constitute both a differential mechanism which distributes and transmits driving torque to front and rear wheel driving shafts and, an entire equipment by making up the differential mechanism from four splines and one sleeve which connects those splines selectively. CONSTITUTION:Driving torque sent from an input shaft 11 is transmitted to a differential mechanism C via a transmission changing mechanism A and a transmission mechanism B. In this case the differential transmission mechanism C consists of four splines 12, 16, 19 and 20 and a single differential changing sleeve 21 which connects those splines selectively. When the differential mechanism C is locked, for example, the differential changing sleeve 21 is slided in the specified direction to connect the third splines 12, 16 and 19 to turn them integrally, and unlocks the fourth spline 20. Then, a carrier 18 and a sun gear 15 are locked so that driving torque is directly transmitted from the first spline 12 to front and rear wheel driving shafts 25 and 26.
