PURPOSE:To reduce running space by constructing three running wheels such that the front one is a steerable driving wheel while two rear wheels are driven wheels interlocked in reverse phase with the driving wheel thereby reducing difference between inner rings when a carrier turns. CONSTITUTION:In a three wheel carrier, front wheel 3 is a driving wheel while two rear wheels 5, 5 are driven wheels, and the front wheel 3 is coupled with a drive side pulley 7. The drive side pulley 7 is interlocked in phase with the front wheel 3 while supported rotatably in lateral direction (steering direction) with respect to a body 1 and operated through a steering device (not shown). A driven side pulley 9 having large diameter is supported rotatably around a longitudinal shaft on the body 1 between the rear wheels 5, 5, and rotation of the driving pulley 7 is transmitted through a crossing timing belt 11. A pair of rods 13 are pivoted at the opposite positions with respect to the center of rotation of the driven side pulley 9, and one end of a rotary member 17 for bearing the rear wheel 5 is pivoted to the other end. |
