PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for tubular body coating member capable of, before coating a round-columnar or cylindrical member with a tubular body by heat shrinkage, increasing the positional accuracy of the tubular body at an axial end portion which excludes the shank portion of the member, as compared with when a cylindrical body is not attached to the shank of the member.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for tubular body coating member comprises: to a shank portion 15 provided at an end portion of a round-columnar or cylindrical member 12, the shank portion having a diameter smaller than the end portion, attaching a cylindrical body 22 having an equal outer diameter to the member 12, with the cylindrical body contacting the end portion of the member 12; coating the member 12 including the cylindrical body 22 with a tubular body 20 and shrinking the tubular body 20 by heating; and cutting the tubular body 20 at a boundary 28 between the cylindrical body 22 and the member 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
