<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a large a rear wheel steering angle with a small device by providing a pair of facing racks to a sliding frame interlocked with a front wheel steering tie rod to move back and forth, and driving a rear wheel steering tie rod through rotation of a pinion engagable alternately with the racks. CONSTITUTION:Output shaft 21 of a front wheel steering device 20 is rotated through rotation of a steering shaft 12 having a steering wheels 12a, and a tie rod 5 is displaced to the right and left through a drop arm 22, a drag link 24 and a bell crank 7 so as to steer a front wheel 2. A link 11 is coupled through a pin 8 to the rear end of the drag link 24, while a rod 14 is coupled to the rear end of the link 11. A steering angle controller 16 having a sliding frame 31 provided with a pair of lost tooth racks 17, 17a is coupled with the rod 14, then a pinion 33 engagable alternately with the racks 17, 17a is coupled with a vertical shaft supported on the body side and that shaft is coupled with the input shaft of rear wheel power steering device 18.</p> |
