Miniature drill-bit sharpener. The invention relates to a simplified machine for sharpening the tip of drill bits. This machine has the feature: - of using a small electric motor 34 which is widely commercially available, giving the rotation to a grinding rod 25, - of having an independent drill bit-carrying assembly 24, - of having a built-in adjustment station 32, - of including a carriage 5, the amount of whose displacement is controlled by a slide indicator dial 40, the carriage receiving a pivoting support 23 in which a lateral slide 21 allows the drill bit-carrying assembly to be seated, - of using a magnifying lens 28 and safety lighting 58 common to the adjustment station 32 and work station 21 simply by pivoting between A and B, - of employing a removable wheel-truing attachment 27, - of being easy to adjust by virtue of an adjusting gauge rod 59. This machine, according to the invention, is particularly intended for sharpening the tip of drill bits of diameter 0.5 mm to 5 mm. <IMAGE>
