PURPOSE:To control the generation of a cyan stain at the roller part of a carrier system, and the generation of a jam trouble of the carrier system in a dry part by processing a photosensitive material contg. a prescribed cyan coupler with a stabilizer having a specified salt concentration. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material contg. the cyan coupler shown by formulas I-III, is color developed, bleach-fixed or fixed, and then processed with the stabilizing soln. having >=1,000ppm salt concentration. In the formula, one of the groups R and R1 is H atom., another of which is 2-12C alkyl group, R2 and R3 are each a ballast group, X and Z are each H atom. or a group capable of releasing by reacting with the oxidant of an aromatic primary amino color developing main agent, Y is -COR4 or -CONHCOR4 group, etc., R4 is alkyl or alkenyl group, etc. The stabilizing soln. may contain a chelating reagent having a prescribed stability constant of the chelate against an iron ion, and an inorg. ammonium compd. The material may contain a sulfite or bactericidal agent. |
