The invention relates to an apparatus for the controlled and low-drift application of plant-treatment agents and fertilisers in the form of liquids, dusts and microgranulates in field, fruit and special cultivations. According to the invention, a tunnel-like cover of the applicator members which is known per se is replaced by convex air-guide profiles which are arranged above the applicator members and are inclined in the direction of travel and which form an air channel. These air-guide profiles are characterised in that the upper edges of the air-guide profiles (4; 5) form an air-inlet slit (8), a covering profile (7) known per se is arranged over the air-inlet slit (8) and the applicator members (3) are arranged within the downward air stream (2). The front air-guide profile (4) is designed as part of a flow body. The upper part (6) of the lower air-guide profile (5) is arranged so that, in the event of changing on-flow directions, it can be adjusted angularly about the axis (6a) separately or together with the covering profile (7), and its lower part in the axis (5b). The invention reduces the drift, improves the penetration into plant stocks and reduces the outlay in terms of plant-treatment agents, energy and costs. <IMAGE>
