摘要 Circuitry is disclosed for linearizing the image reproduction by cathode ray tubes. During symmetrical line deflection, hyteresis can cause line by line shifting, so that there is no synchronization with the image content. To eliminate this defect, the aim is to reliably recognize the deviations of the electron beam at the image edges. At least one vertical indexing strip is arranged preferably on one side of the light-emitting layer. In addition, sensors are linked to an evaluation circuit that evaluates the point in time when the electron beam crosses the indexing strip. A comparator circuit, for comparing the index signals with the line deflection signals shifts, by means of a control circuit, the image content from successively written lines. The invention is particularly appropriate for television receiving sets having large image tubes and an energy-saving line deflection circuit.
