PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a high-hardness rubber composition excellent in heat resistance and weathering resistance without detriment to rollability, extrudability and productivity, by mixing an ethylene/alpha-olefin rubber and/or IIR with a specified rubber-like substance and sulfur. CONSTITUTION:This rubber composition is prepared by mixing 100pts.wt. ethylene/'-olefin/nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber and/or isobutylene/ isoprene copolymer rubber (IIR) with 3-60pts.wt. solid rubber-like substance having a butadiene content >=60%, a 1, 2 bond content in the butadiene part >=40%, and a weight-average MW/number-average MW ratio <=2 and 3-35pts. wt. sulfur. |
