<p>The spreader disclosed has a spreading plate and a channel for the spreading material leading to the spreading plate. A first drive lowers and raises the spreading plate together with a slide for opening and closing the spreading material channel. A second drive rotates the spreading plate. These drives are arranged so as to form a compact and reliable structure. For this purpose, the first drive for lowering and raising the spreading plate (4) together with the slide (5) for opening and closing the spreading material channel (2) is designed as an annular drive unit (16), and the second drive, namely a flanged electric motor (6) mounted on the slide (5), is lodged in the interior space of the annular drive unit (16). The arrangement and rotary drive in the interior space of the annular lifting drive results in a compact, protected structure. The lifting drive, which acts on a large area and hence exerts a large lifting force, guarantees reliable performance.</p> |
