A device for removing ear wax and other deposits in the auditory canals of the human ear possesses a tubular body (10). The cross-section of one of the end regions (14) of this body is adapted to suit the external auditory canal (18) of the ear (20) in such a way that it can be inserted by this end region (14) into the auditory canal (18); this body (10) can be burnt, with evolution of smoke, at temperatures corresponding to the temperature of the human body. <IMAGE>
