A column is shown for liquid chromatography, in which particles of a compound based on calcium phosphate are packed. The particles of a compound based on calcium phosphate which are packed in that part of the column in which a solvent is injected have a higher strength than the particles of a calcium phosphate compound which are packed in the remaining part of the column.
