The dormer ventilator, which is prefabricated in one piece and comprises at least an outer shell (1) and a heat-insulating layer (8), can be designed in a particularly dimensionally rigid manner in that the outer shell (1) is provided on the inner side with laminated-on load-bearing members (2) which exhibit a sandwich structure. Said load-bearing members do not in any way impair the heat-insulation and may, if required, be used additionally as fastening points for retrofitted, exterior and/or interior solid cladding. <IMAGE>
