Vehicle brake system with device for limiting wheel slip

A vehicle brake system (2) is proposed with a brake pressure transmitter (4), controllable by means of a pedal (3), with wheel brakes (5, 6, 7, 8) and with devices (9, 10) for limiting wheel slip on drivable vehicle wheels using wheel brakes assigned to the said wheels. The devices (9, 10) are incorporated into brake lines (16, 18; 16a, 18a) leading to the wheel brakes of drivable wheels and contain reciprocating piston pumps (22), acting in the direction of the wheel brakes, and flow paths (32) with built-in throttles (33) leading around the reciprocating piston pumps (22). A control module (11) controls the devices (9, 10) as a function of the detected wheel slip. When normal brakings are performed by operation of the pedal (3), pressure medium passes from the brake pressure source (4) through the flow path (32) to the respectively assigned wheel brake (5, 6). <IMAGE>
