<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a color filter whose spectral characteristic is satisfactory by containing a magenta coupler shown by a specific formula into an external color developer at the time of forming a pattern on a silver halide emulsion layer on a light transmissive supporting body. CONSTITUTION:An optical pattern is exposed through a photomask 24 to an emulsion layer 22 of a photosensitive material 23 on which at least one layer of silver halide emulsion layer 22 is provided on a light transmissive supporting body 21, and thereafter, a pigment image corresponding to the pattern is formed by an external color development. By repeating this process, a pattern of at least two colors is formed, and after the last color development has been executed, a color mosaic filter is manufactured by executing a desilverizing treatment. This color developer contains one kind of developing agent and two kinds or more of couplers whose hues are different, and a magenta coupler as shown by the formula is contained therein. As for this coupler, there is no secondary absorption in a blue part, therefore, a color filter in which the transmissivity of a blue light has increased can be obtained.</p> |
