PURPOSE:To improve the water dispersion stability of a solid lubricant and adhesion to a workpiece, by making use of a salt of a cationic polymer compd. or amphoteric ion polymer compd. and a nonionic surfactant as dispersants for dispersing a powder solid lubricant in water. CONSTITUTION:A powdery solid lubricant is dispersed in water by using 0.1-5wt.% salt of a cationic polymer compd. or an amphoteric ion polymer compd. and 0.1-5wt.% nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of 7-16. Examples of the salt of a cationic polymer compd. include formic acid, acetic acid and propionic acid salts of N,N-dialkylaminoalkylpoly(meth)acrylates, polyamidesulfones, etc. Examples of the salt of the amphoteric ion polymer compd. include formic acid and acetic acid salts of a copolymer of a monomer of the aforesaid cationic polymer compd. with (meth)acrylic acid. |
