The invention relates to a reciprocating-floor conveyor having movable reciprocating beams arranged parallel to one another. The adjacent flanks of the reciprocating beams bridge the longitudinal gaps formed between the reciprocating beams while forming a sealed gap zone with clearance of motion and, if applicable, contact. At the same time, trough profiles can be arranged below the gap zones of adjacent reciprocating beams. Furthermore, the possibility exists of equipping the flanks of the reciprocating beams with gaskets or of inserting gaskets in the region of the longitudinal gaps. All in all, a wear and jam-free sealing of the longitudinal gaps, even against the penetration of fine material, is achieved. <IMAGE>
