The method of the invention for collecting organic materials and eliminating slaughter-house blood residues comprises the collection of blood to be treated and conveying the blood into a reactor, imparting the collected blood with a rotation and dispersion motion, introducing into the thus treated blood a metal salt in a quantity sufficient to coagulate and agglomerate the blood, adding a strong base to the agglomerated product, finally separating the two distinct phases in order to obtain on the one hand a pulp which is a valuable product and, on the other hand, a filtrate which may be discarded as residual product. |
