In the process and device described, sliding plates with throughflow apertures move relative to each other, and the flow rate is thereby regulated. To improve the precision of regulation and the configuration of the liquid stream as it issues from the apertures and to reduce the wear on the sliding plates, the first sliding plate has a wedge-shaped aperture (3) and the second sliding plate has an aperture (4, 4') which is wider than the average width of the wedge-shaped aperture (3) of the first sliding plate, and the sliding plates move relative to each other in the longitudinal direction (5) of the wedge. If the relative movement between the sliding plates is continued after the aperture (4, 4') of the second sliding plate has been superimposed on the wedge-shaped aperture (3), the inflow can be precisely regulated by varying the dimensions of the wedge-shaped throughflow cross-section.
|
