PURPOSE:To obtain the best quality of an image equal to the one at the time of unmagnified copying by storing the moving distance of a scanner unit and a lens to which adjusting quantity for assembly errors, etc., of a copying device is added in a controller. CONSTITUTION:In the production line of the copying device, an image sample is sampled every variable power rate so as to measure whether said variable power rate is actually attained. When the sample does not coincide with the variable power rate, a 2nd scanner unit II and the lens 6 are moved until they coincide with each other and the moving quantity is stored in a RAM 14 as the adjusting quantity. When a user sets a variable power rate with operation part ten key 13, a CPU 9 moves the lens 6 and the 2nd scanner unit II to the optimum position by driving devices 11 and 12 through a driving circuit 10 based on the adjusting quantity stored in the RAM 14. Thus, the image of accurate variable power rate can be obtained and the quality of the image can be improved. |
