PURPOSE:To improve the contrast of a negative image by incorporating a specified nucleus forming agent in the title material. CONSTITUTION:An acylhydrazines shown by formula I is incorporated in the photographic emulsion layer or the another hydrophilic colloidal layer contg. in the material. In the formula, A1 and A2 are both H atom. or one of which is H atom. and another of which is a sulfinic acid residual group, etc., R is an aliphatic or an aromatic group, etc., X is a group shown by formula II or III, X1 and X2 are each H atom. or alkyl group, etc., X3 is H atom. or alkenyl group, etc. And, the concrete example of the compd. shown by the formula is exemplified by the compd. shown by formula IV, etc. The negative image with the high contrast is formed by using the compd. shown by the formula, in combination with the negative type emulsion, and the material may be applicable by combining it with an inner-latent image type silver halide emulsion. |
