PURPOSE:To increase the volume of a target and heat capacity by comprising the captioned X-ray tube with the first shaft that forms an axis gear halfway and the second shaft that forms an axis gear engaging with the said gear on the inner surface of the periphery of the first shaft and a target at the center of the outside. CONSTITUTION:The first shaft 35 whose both ends are supported by a pair of bearings 33 and 34 is provided inside a tube body 31 so as to freely rotate. The cylindrical second shaft 39 is arranged concentrically at the peripheral side of this shaft 35 through play bearings 37 and 38. This second shaft 39 is provided with a thick and cylindrical target 40 mounted on the periphery of the center and axis gears 39a and 35b engaging with each other are formed on the second shaft 39 and the first shaft 35 respectively. These axis gears 35b and 39a generate a fixed relationship in the movement of both shafts. As a result, a compact x-ray tube with high heat capacity that will not be restricted by the condition where x-rays are output can be obtained. |
