<p>The intention is to provide a pivoting bearing with an outer ring having a partially spherical inner contact surface and with an inner ring supported rotatably and swivellably therein and provided with two rolls of rolling elements in the form of balls, and this pivoting bearing is to be distinguished by relatively low production costs and good running characteristics. This is achieved by the fact that the two rows (12) of rolling elements are arranged fully spherically in a common encircling groove (13) of approximately rectangular cross-section and are offset relative to one another in the circumferential direction. Thus only one groove has to be made to hold the rolling element. This reduces costs, as does the simplicity with which a pivoting bearing of this kind can be assembled. The offsetting of the rolling elements in the circumferential direction of the pivoting bearing gives the advantage that it is possible to dispense with the use of a cage. <IMAGE></p> |
