The invention relates to a device for attaching a bag to a body belt, bag strap or the like, there being fastened spaced apart on the back of the bag the two ends of a transversely running carrying strap and, approximately centrally and with spacing below said carrying strap, the one end of a holding strap running transversely to the carrying strap, and the holding strap being passed below the belt or strap running approximately in parallel below the carrying strap and between the fastened ends of the carrying strap, being folded over by about 180@ above the carrying strap, and its free end being retained on the bag by interacting touch-and-close fastener elements.
