<p>A foam article is reinforced at its surface by a layer of honeycomb-type sheet material 40. The honeycomb is sandwiched between an outer fibrous porous sheet layer 42, and an inner porous sheet 36. When the article is molded the foam impregnates both inner and outer layers 36, 42 and permeates the cells of the honeycomb-type sheet material.</p> |
