PURPOSE:To inspect a printed circuit board at a high speed and with high accuracy, by processing an output signal of a television camera, and comparing it with a standard signal. CONSTITUTION:When a board is brought to image pickup by a television camera and is compared with a reference signal 5a of a computer 19, it becomes as shown in (a). A signal of a horizontal scanning line Li-r of the signal 5a becomes (c), and a corresponding image pickup signal of the board becomes (b). When AND of both of these signals is taken, all outputs become L. It signifies that no abnormality exists in a circuit pattern with respect to the scanning line Li-r. The signal 5a of a horizontal scanning line Li and each signal of the board become (e) and (d), and when AND of both of these signals is taken, an H pulse of (f) is obtained, an H pulse output corresponds to an opened A part of the board, and by this pulse output, abnormality of the circuit pattern can be detected. A crack of the board can also be detected in the same way. |
