PURPOSE:To make a slip ring for the conduction of electricity unnecessary by a method wherein a generator is provided on the tip end of a supporting column and the shaft of a wind mill is rotated freely about a bevel gear for the shaft of the generator. CONSTITUTION:The shaft 6 of the wind mill is supported rotatably by a main casing 9 supported rotatably with respect to the casing 8 of the generator and the casing 8 of the generator is fixed to the top of the supporting column 1. The central axis of the main casing 9 is the same as the central axis of the generator 7 and power transmission from the shaft 6 of the wind mill to the shaft of the generator is effected through the bevel gears 12, 13, therefore, the position of the generator 7 is not needed to be changed and the generator 7 may be kept immobile if the direction of the wind mill 2 is changed in accordance with the direction of wind, therefore, a cable 19 may be connected directly to the generator 7. |
