<p>A method of controlling the speed reduction ratio of a continuously variable speed transmission using change rate di/dt of speed reduction ratio as control value, wherein di/dt = -C1*N/V<2>*(dV0/dt)+C2*1/V*(dN0/dt) +C3*N/V<2>*(dV0/dt-dV/dt) or, dt/dt = -C4*(N/V<2>)*dV0/dt*KCL+C5*(1/V)*dN0/dt where C1, C2, C3, C4 and C5 are constants, N is engine speed, V is vehicle speed, dV0/dt is predicted acceleration calculated from reserved power of the engine, dV/dt is actual acceleration, dN0/dt is a reference change rate of engine speed obtained based on a parameter representing a driver's intention to accelerate or decelerate, and KCL is a transmission rate of engine power through a clutch.</p> |
