PURPOSE: To rapidly pulverize ceramic powder to particle diameters of submicron by specifying the volume of liquid to <=4 times the true volume of the ceramic powder, adding a dispersant thereto and using cobble stones of <=1 mm in diameter. CONSTITUTION: A lead component is used for the ceramic powder, to which the pure water of the volume of <=4 times the same and the dispersant of a polycarboxylic acid type are added. The ceramic powder is agitated and pulverized by using the cobble stones of <=1 mm in diameter. The ceramic powder may then be rapidly pulverized to the particles of submicron. Since the abrasion loss of the cobble stones is little, the amt. of the cobble stones to be incorporated into the ceramic powder is decreased. Further, the amt. of the liquid to be used is little and, therefore, the volume of the slurry is reduced and the treating ability of several times heretofore is obtd. with a pulverizing machine of the same capacity. |
