<p>PURPOSE: To prevent electrical short circuit by an arrangement wherein a bobbin spindle has polygonal cross-section of such outer circumference as including corners extending in three axial directions and each flange has longitudinal or axial thickness thinner than the thickness of each slot in same direction. CONSTITUTION: The coil assembly 16 has a bobbin 20 made of an insulating material and a winding of insulated coil wire is formed thereon. The bobbin 20 is made of plastic and comprises a tubular spindle part 24 having polygonal cross-section including three or more corners 25 extending in the longitudinal or axial direction. The bobbin 20 is segmented by providing an annular flange 26 extending in the laterally or radially direction integrally with a bobbin spindle 24 for forming an intermediate slot 28 and the peripheral outline of the flange 26 is matched with that of the spindle 24. Furthermore, the bobbin 20 is provided, in the inner wall of each flange 26 thereof, with cross-over grooves 35, 35' combined with each slot 28. According to the structure, electrical short circuit and dielectric breakdown can be suppressed.</p> |
