<p>The U-shaped channelling can be used in three different ways as part of an electrical distribution system fixed to the support metalwork of a suspended ceiling. Two such lengths of channelling can form a box section channel for cables. The triangular-shaped ridges (14) in the side walls (13) of the upper channel clip over the corresp. ridges in the lower channel. A length of channelling may also be used as a cover for a V-shaped trough channel (15). Lengths of channelling may be secured to the framework by "punch out and bend over" tags (19, 20). Multipin connectors may be mounted in the upper faces of lengths of channelling to make connections with flying leads. Lengths of channelling may also be butted together and secured by built-in clips.</p> |
