发明名称 PERMANENT MAGNET MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To acquire high coercive force by manufacturing fine powders of Sm-Co metallic compound which are dispersed and caked in synthetic resin or plastic and are of single magnetic domain fine-particle. CONSTITUTION:Arc melting and grinding in argon are made independently to an alloy of weighting composition SmCo3.82 (No.1) and SmCo3.70 (No.2). Powders of No.1 and No.2 composition are mixed and formed by compression then sintered in argon atmosphere. Single phase sintered compact composed of pure SmCo5 compound can be thereby acquired. Fine grinding is conducted in toluene or hexane by a stainless steel ball mill to provide fine particles of the critical diameter or smaller. The fine powders are dispersed in liquid synthetic resin or plastic then caked. For caking in the field, magnetic field of more than about 15 kilo oersteds is acted to manufacture orientation samples in the field. A permanent magnet material of high coercive force can be thus acquired.
