PURPOSE:To shorten stage replacement time by making a momentary rewriting of the data of tools' positions following change of a group of tools by arranging transfer means to transfer the initial position data stored at the time of installation of a group of tools to the memory area of the tools' positions. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of tool holding apparatuses H0-H7 are arranged at an equal interval on outer circumferential part of the magazine 10 which is rotatably installed on the machine tool unit and are clockwise given discrimination numbers 0-7. A memory apparatus is connected to indexing control circuit 30 which indexes the tools on the tools' positions 14. Data area 31c to store fixedly the numbers 0-7 equivalent to the apparatuses H0-H7 as the initial position data on the apparatus 31. As the transfer command switch TCS connected to circuit 30 is put in operation, these data of numerical values 0-7 are transferred in turn as the tools' numbers from the head number TNAO of the tools' positions memory area 31a. |
