<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability of the titled device by storing plural cassette halves into a storing shelf, successively detecting the presence or absence of the cassette half at the time of timer reproduction, and reproducing the detected cassette half. CONSTITUTION:When an activating signal is outputted from a timer circuit 6, and the timer reproduction is started, a variable (i) to indicate the storing position of the cassette halves corresponding to storing shelves 11-15 is set at one, and the presence or absence of the cassette half of the storing shelf 11 is detected. When the cassette half is detected at the storing shelf 11 by a half detecting part 2, a signal to designate the storing shelf 11 is outputted to a half shifting part 4, the cassette half is taken off from the storing shelf 11, set at a tape scanning part 3 and a reproduction action is performed by the half shifting part 4. In addition, when the cassette half is not detected at the storing shelf 11 by the half detecting part 2, the variable (i) is increased by one, and the cassette halves 12, 13,... are successively detected until the variable (i) becomes larger than the number of the storing shelves by one, and when the cassette half is detected, the reproduction action is performed in the same way.</p> |
