<p>PURPOSE:To delicately detect a position of the human body by setting the titled device so that plural partial areas in a detecting area are overlapped partially and an existing position of a person is decided based on a combination of a variation of the light quantity of infrared rays from each partial area. CONSTITUTION:Plural infrared dose detecting means 4A-4C are set in a detecting area 1, and detect the light quantity of infrared rays. Plural infrared ray converging means 6A-6C converge infrared rays from partial areas 3A-3C in the area 1 by allowing them to correspond to the detecting means 4A-4C, respectively, so that each area 3A-3C is overlapped partially. When a variation of the light quantity of infrared rays from each area 3A-3C detected by the detecting means 4A-4C exceeds a prescribed level, plural light quantity variation detecting means 11A-11C detect it, respectively. Also, a deciding means 12 decides whether the human body exists or not with regard to the part where each area 3A-3C is overlapped to each other and the part where it is not overlapped, based on an output of the detecting means 11A-11C. According to this constitution, while decreasing the number of detecting parts, a position of the human body in the area 1 can be detected delicately.</p> |
