PURPOSE:To cause a fumigant to emit fume safety and positively by a rubbing a match with a rubbing plate in parallel to each other and under a uniform pressure to start the fuming of the fumigant. CONSTITUTION:A first vessel 5 is provided at its upper outer periphery with a shoulder part 5b, and is rotatably supported by the upper edge part of an outside vessel 7 making contact with the shoulder part 5b. When the fuming device is unused, a spacer ring 10 made of an O-ring or a braid is placed between the shoulder part 5b and the upper edge part of the second vessel 7, a suitable clearance V is provided between the match chemical 6 and the rubbing plate 8 thereby to prevent the rubbing and ignition of both members. When the fuming device is used, the spacer ring 10 is removed, the first vessel 5 is slightly pushed into the side of the second vessel 7 and both vessels are strongly rotated so as to align the marks such as arrow lines put on the outer peripheral walls of both vessels with each other. The match chemical 6 and the rubbing plate 8 are rubbed under a uniform contact pressure wherein the match chemical 6 and the rubbing plate 8 are parallel and uniform, and are ignited and burnt without a possibility of explosion. When the combustion of a delay fuse 11 reaches an ignition chemical 4, combustion fuming of the fumigant 1 is started with the melting of a package bag 2. |
