<p>PURPOSE:To easily and quickly locate an accident generating section of a transmission line by constituting the titled device so that the direction of an accident current of the transmission line is detected at a spot on which a power source detecting means is provided, and it can be displayed at that spot. CONSTITUTION:When a ground-fault is generated in a steel tower, an accident current flowing through an overhead ground wire 1 comes to have a large amplitude. Accordingly, the amplitude of an optical signal which is led out of LEDs 204a, 204b exceeds a reference value provided on a gate circuit 302. Accident current information detected by this circuit 302 is given to a deciding circuit 303. The circuit 303 receives a current detecting signal from the circuit 302 and decides its detection sequence. In this case, when the accident current flows in the direction as indicated with an arrow A through the overhead ground wire 1, first of all, a signal corresponding to the output of the LED 204a is applied and subsequently, a signal against the optical signal led out of the LED 204b is applied, and thereafter, said signals are applied alternately. In such a way, in the circuit 303, the flowing direction of the current is detected, based on a signal output sequence from the circuit 302, and the flowing direction of the current is displayed on a display part 304.</p> |
