<p>PURPOSE:To make proper preload adjustment by assembling an adjusting plate provided with fixing member coupling grooves, the number of which is similar to and different from the number of coupling parts, with a given piece of the fixing member coupling grooves selectively. CONSTITUTION:Sixteen pieces of equally spaced coupling grooves 73b are formed on the inner circumferential part of a locknut 73 in a preload adjusting device, and an adjusting plate 75 fixed to a fixing bolt 76 is assembled therewith, with the outer circumferential part of the plate 75 being provided with 3 pieces of fixing bolt coupling grooves 75a and its inner circumferential being provided with 4 pieces of coupling protrusions 75b. Hence the preload adjustment of a bearing by means of the locknut 73 is selected in such a way that the coupling grooves 73b of the locknut 73 and the coupling protrusions 75b of the adjusting plate 75 may be properly coupled together.</p> |
