PURPOSE:To judge abnormality before a series of image forming actions are performed when an abnormal connecting equipment is fitted by confirming whether or not the connecting equipment normally acts at the time of turning on a power source. CONSTITUTION:At the time of turning on a power source switch 95 or at the time of judging a state where a right cover is changed from opening to closing by a cover switch 93, a control part 91 performs a series of actions to a jogger 7 so as to confirm whether or not a jogger motor 63, a left sensor 64, a right sensor 65 and a driver 92 normally act. When the abnormality is judged by the confirming action, for instance, when the right sensor 65 does not become on after a specified time passes, the error is let to be guided. Thus the abnormality can be judged before performing a series of image forming actions and burdens upon an operator can be reduced. |
