PURPOSE:To eliminate an adverse effect caused by moisture accumulation in a reformer pipeline by installing heat exchangers, each of which has gas flow- out ports in its intermediate part and outlet side, between an air electrode and a steam separator and between a fuel electrode and a steam separator, and by connecting air and fuel recycling lines to the gas flow-out ports in the intermediate part, and by connecting the steam separators to the gas flow out ports on the outlet side. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 12a is installed between an air electrode 1 and a steam separator 3a, and a heat exchanger 12b between a fuel electrode 2 and a steam separator 3b. Gas flow-out ports are installed in the intermediate part and on the outlet side of the heat exchangers 12a and 12b. The gas flow out port in the intermediate part is connected to air and fuel recycling lines 4, 5, and the gas flow-out port on the outlet side to the steam separators 3a, 3b. Moisture is removed with the steam separators 3a, 3b to prevent the flow of moisture to flow resistors 10a, 10b. An adverse effect on the differential pressure in a cell caused by moisture accumulation in a reformer pipeline is removed. A recycling gas which needs a specified amount of moisture is drawn out on the way of the heat exchanger and returned. |
