<p>The lightning arrester device D comprises an outer metal envelope 1 constituting a first electrode and at least one metal rod 3 forming another electrode penetrating inside the envelope. Insulating leaktightness means 4 are provided between the rod 3 and the envelope 1. Means C are furthermore provided for short-circuiting the electrodes 1, 3 when the quantity of energy having to be dispelled by the lightning arrester exceeds a predetermined threshold, these means C comprising a fuse element 5. The short-circuiting means C comprise means R, 7 for receiving the liquid coming from the melting of the fuse element 5, these means R being able to retain the liquid so that it forms a sheet establishing electrical contact between the metal rod 3 and the envelope 1, 7, the fuse element 5 being made from an electrically conductive material. <IMAGE></p> |
